In Korea, Valentine’s Day is all about guys. But don’t worry, the girls aren’t left out–they have their own love holiday in March. It’s White Day on March 14.
On White Day Korean men traditionally give their sweethearts non-chocolate candy, jewelry, and/or flowers. A nice dinner out is often part of the celebration as well. And while non-chocolate candy is one of the traditional gifts on White Day have I seen some mention of white chocolate being given in theme with the holiday’s name.
So maybe March 14 should be about the females in your household. Celebrate love Korean-style.
