Becoming the big brother or sister is never easy. And that’s what Babies Can’t Eat Kimchee! by Nancy Patz is all about.
The little girl telling the story is now a big sister. But it doesn’t seem like much fun since her little sister, who is just a baby, can’t do anything–not ballet or painting or eating ice cream or kimchi. But someday, the little girl dreams, she’ll teach her little sister all those things.
A cute book about being an older sibling that features kids with Asian features. Despite the title, kimchi plays a small part in the book. But I’m always looking for children’s books featuring Asian families; this one fits the bill.
