I love this little book. The reader follows Sori and her family and they journey out of the city to celebrate Chuseok with their extended family in the country.
The illustrations have a lot going on in them giving you a chance to talk about Korean culture and some of the difference between U.S. culture and Korean culture with your child as you read.
It describes the various aspects of how families celebrate Chuseok, including the food and traditional dancing.
We lucked out and found the paperback edition of this book at a thrift store. But the hardcover edition is available through Amazon and would make an excellent addition to your Korean library.
